Flat Feet in Kids aren’t always “normal”. Arches develop on a specific timeline as they grow

Children typically begin walking between 10–12 months, with outward-tilting heels and flat-looking arches. By age 6, heels should straighten, and arches become visible. By age 13, feet should reach their adult shape, with inward-tilting heels and well-formed arches.

If your child’s foot development is delayed, doctor-recommended littleSTEPS® Foot Orthotics can help!
